Leonidas Kossis's first solo album, "Mple Feggariou Kataigida" ('Blue Moon Storm') is due for release at the beginning of November 2010
Leonidas is collaborating with Lefteris Moumtzis, a.k.a. 'J. Kriste, Master of Disguise' for his next album, to be released in 2012
"Mple Feggariou Kataigida" is Leonidas Kossis's first personal album. It contains 11 songs written in the period 1996-2006.
In this album, Leonidas combines a cerebral approach to songwriting reminiscent of Peter Gabriel, an emotional appeal which at times reminds us of Seal, and a fluid feistiness in Lennie Kravitz fashion.
"Under the Skin" is Yiannis Tryfon's first solo album. The music is a fudion of rock and electronica. Songs like "Sunday Afternoon", with Leonidas Kossis's rich vocals, allude to "good, old times", while the track "Clean" combining a hip hop beat with acoustic guitar could as wel have been written by Wyclef Jean.
The second release by Olive tree Music, which contains 29 tracks in a double-album CD, by artists from Cyprus, Greece, Turkey, the U.S.A., the U.K. and Norway. The first of the two CDs is entitled "Urban", with music along the lines of R'n'B, hip hop and reggae. The second CD is entitled "World" and contains mostly ethnic tracks.
